Our Clients include wine producers from Spain, Bordeaux, Languedoc and New World. We are constantly evolving and looking for new and interesting producers for our many customers internationally. We work with a varied customer base including multiple retailers, regional specialists, agents and buying groups.

As an experienced sales director in the wine industry, Alexander has built both an extensive and  international contact base of buyers and producers. He is respected in the industry for his honesty and integrity in negotiations, as well as loyalty to both suppliers and clients. 
Alexander has managed supplies with all major UK retailers and has experience with international chains. He is passionate about the importance of good wines at all price levels.

Owner and Director
Alexander set up Vins & Vinos in early 2010 to provide expertise in wine export management. Based in southern France, the team provides a professional management service to wineries seeking to develop export sales while at the same time offer a service to wine buyers to source wines from across France, Spain and Italy. 

The Vins & Vinos Boutique Wine shop and Tasting rooms in Carcassonne opened its doors in December 2012. This bold move has been hugely welcomed by local wine makers and growers and allowed us to introduce wines from around the world. At the same time, we are able to raise the awareness for our growers through regular tastings and presentations of their wines. We are also able to test-market packaging, price points, designs and wines styles on our international and local customers.

AV Positivo is a privately owned company, and during his time with them Alexander worked with with ten prestige wineries in the premium and super premium category including Naia, Nora de Neve, Atauta, Cenit and Alverdo Domecq.

Based in Geneva, Alexander held the position of Export Director with United Wineries International. He was responsible for developing business in Switzerland, Belgium, Russia, Eastern Europe, Ireland and other International markets.

As sales director for United Wineries' new office in the UK, Alexander was responsible for day to day management of Tesco, Sainsbury and Coop as well as the development of the convenience sector including Today, Budgens, Londis as well as UK Independents, Oddbins, Majestic and Thresher. This period saw United Wineries achieve its greatest period of growth and penetration of the multiple retailer sector.

September 1992 to September 1998
Alexander spent six great years developing the London sales division of Boutinot Wines supplying mainly London restaurants. During these years he formed a tremendous network of restauranteurs and friends in the wine trade, restaurant, hotel and catering industry - all of whom he keeps in touch with to this day.
